The Penn summer

The Penn will take a break as IUP students enjoy their summer vacations.

Even in a new, all-digital frontier, the stories, the headlines, the podcasts and all the content from The Penn will go quiet during the summer months.

Yes, sadly students and faculty must enjoy those summer vibes and that salty air without us. (Tough, we know.)

But, not to fear, as we will return with new energy, along with some new ideas and content for the IUP community in the fall.

Looking back to one year ago, few believed that The Penn would be able to make the leap from almost a century-long printed format into the new world of digital. However, with collaboration, out-of-the-box thinking and a lot of hard work, we did it.

Thank you, readers, listeners and viewers, for an incredible first year for The Penn as an all-digital, collegiate newspaper.

Have a happy and safe summer.
