Katie Eaton was selected to the All-PSAC doubles team along with her partner Tabtip Louhabanjong.

“They [West Liberty] are a very strong team especially in the top half of their lineup,” Peterson said. “They’re top three players are very good.  Our match with them was tight.

“If we come out and play well and are mentally prepared to bring the A game I think we have a good chance of winning. We have to be prepared for a battle and go out and take care of business. We just got to be ready to play our best and I think if we do we’re going to have opportunities to be successful.”

Slippery Rock, No. 3 seed, will take on No. 6 seed Charleston of the WVIAC.

The winners of the two matches play Sunday for a spot at the NCAA championships in Louisville, Ky., May 16-19.

“We’re going in confident,” Timko said.
