The IUP freshman defeated Ashland's Tori Goudy at No. 1 singles, 3-6, 7-5, 6-2., after being down 4-0 in the second set.
"She's a very solid player," IUP Head Coach Larry Peterson said. "We've had high expectations for
her coming in and it's nice to be recognized. But it was nice for her to pull out the win for the team."
Louhabanjong is the second-consecutive Crimson Hawk to win Athlete of the Week.
Sophomore Katie Eaton won the award last week after her outing during the spring trip to South Carolina.

"It's been nice to be a little bit under the radar," Peterson said. "But with that win over Ashland, it's a different ball game now. We're about to be the hunted instead of being the hunters. Everyone knows we're for real now."
IUP's Wednesday match with West Liberty was postponed and has been rescheduled for today.
The Crimson Hawks' first home match of the year against undefeated Concordia (NY), originally scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, has been moved to 8:30 a.m. at the Ebensburg Tennis Center.
