The summer is so close now. The only thing standing in our way is finals week, so take care of yourself and take the steps necessary in order to have a successful end to the semester. For some, you’ll have four sweet months to relax on your own time and gear up for fall. For others, scrambling for a job or getting ready for grad school will be on the itinerary.
Whatever it is you choose to do with your time, we encourage you to continue learning. Maintaining intellectual curiosity and the means to research your questions is one of the main purposes of college that seems to get overlooked by the unending race after a degree that supposedly proves your worth as part of the work force.
We hate to sound cliché, but we live in such a wide world filled with an array of experiences, thoughts and unanswerable questions that to mentally stagnate would be doing yourself a great disservice. It’s not always easy to fit in the time for personal education if you’re working or starting a family, but learning need not necessarily be restricted to reading books (though this is always a good idea!).
