I want to remind every student here that IUP’s policy does not in any way trump the United States Constitution. You say people are being taken advan­tage of? I say that the policy strips the students of what every person in this country has in common. By tell­ing them they can’t say what they feel based on what they believe is just wrong. You say it’s 2010 and that times have changed for gays? Yes, but there are still people who will tell you where they think they’re going, and there is nothing that will stop them.
